Welcome to nemasoil.com

This website is about the PhD work of Marisol Quintanilla Tornel (view Curriculum Vitae).

My ecological research has been divided into different areas, this website covers most of them.

1. Nematode Community Structure Analysis, with photographs and descriptions for nematodes found at KBS/LTER, MI at different treatments: Conventional Tillage (T1), No-tillage (T2), No-input (T4), Succession (T7 and SF) and Deciduous forest (DF).

2. Soil Physics and Acoustics: Acoustical recording of rapid hydration of soil aggregates from tilled, no-tilled or native habitats.

3. Compost Biology and Acoustics: Acoustic recording of compost with or without its natural biota, and with or without water added as an activating agent.

4. Kellogg Biological Station, Michigan environmental acoustical recordings: Sound recording of insect, bird and amphibian activity in different ecosystems (T1, T2, T4, T7, SF, and DF) at Kellogg Biological Station (KBS/LTER). Will completely post after publication.

Most of the work has been done at the Bird Nematology Laboratory at Michigan State University and Kellogg Biological Station (KBS).
